Crochet necklace in silver & beads
Exciting! I am combining crochet with jewellery making, and I like the result. I made this necklace following a video tutorial from Mikey at The Crochet Crowd. I love Mikey. He is FAB-U-LOUS and I get a real kick when he gets excited about something. Oh how I laugh. It's good to have fun and I get the feeling that Mikey loves what he does and is excited to share knowledge with people. I feel the same way. Teaching is one of my passions, even though I don't get to do it too often, and I love to see someone else enjoy it as much as I do. Plus I get to learn cool new stuff like how to crochet with wire! Awesome. Sparkly things + crochet = Miko heaven. Oh yes! I made this necklace and decided that I don't really have the right clothes to wear with it, so I am giving it to my MIL as a present. I hope she likes it. I have used lots of pretty glass beads and crocheted 3 strands, then braided them together.
